This is the ultimate Halloween short break in Transylvania! The tour is based on a relaxing 2-day Halloween, supposing you'll arrive in Romania on Saturday morning, October 31 and fly back home on Sunday evening, November 1. Includes a great Halloween Party in Bran Castle, also known as Dracula's Castle.
Day 1: October 31st
Bucharest - Bran
12:00: Welcome to Romania! Your guide connects with you at the airport or any hotel from Bucharest or Otopeni. Drive to Bran and accommodate in a 3* hotel near Bran Castle. After dinner explore Transylvania’s symbol, Bran Castle. The edifice owes its fame both to its unique charm and to the myth Bram Stoker created around Dracula. Documentary evidence of the castle dates back as far as 1377.
19:00: Legend emerging begins! Enjoy an unforgettable night tour of Bran Castle, meet the Wicked Fairies and get lost in their euphoric dance along with a glass of local red wine. Watch a horror movie projection and feel amazing being part of a great and dynamic Halloween After Party until 4 am.
Day 2: November 1st
Bran - Brasov - Bucharest
09:00 - Morning drive to the medieval Saxon city of Brasov a city with an outstanding medieval atmosphere which has played a vital role in Romania’s history, both old and new. Three quarters of the city is surrounded by mountains, and it is one of the best preserved medieval cities in Europe. Visit the most famous landmark of Brasov, the Black Church, the largest gothic edifice in southern Europe dating back to 14th century. Initially called St. Virgin Mary the church was renamed after the great fire in 1689 that blackened its walls. It hosts the largest bell in the country as well as a collection of oriental carpets dating from the 15th and the 18th centuries. 14:00 - 15:00 - Transfer back to the airport for your returning flight back home.
